ELEMENTARY MONITORS

(formerly called volunteers)

Swampscott Public Schools is looking for assistance at our elementary schools from community members. 

After further discussions, our volunteer positions are now being upgraded to paid positions until the end of the school year.  If you are interested, see the Elementary Monitor Letter below. 

Requirements:

As we move into our full return to school in the Spring of 2021, we will have a need for Elementary Monitors to assist with lunch breaks, snack breaks, mask breaks, and other duties that we cannot manage with our current staffing levels.

ELEMENTARY MONITOR LETTER

$13.50 per hour

CORI forms and a copy of your license will need to be submitted in person to the school Admin Asst of the school your student attends. If you do not have a student in the school system, please send an email to volunteer@swampscott.k12.ma.us to set up an appointment with Ashley Tinkham, HR Coordinator, to drop off your CORI form and copy of your license.

Fingerprinting/SAFIS results will be received by the Swampscott Public Schools from the Dept. of Justice in approximately 10-14 days after taken. Please let us know once you have booked your appointment.
